EconomicRecovery.gov–new website provides resources

Last month, the federal government launched EconomicRecovery.gov. Described as a resource for the American people to find help to keep their homes, find jobs and protect their savings, it includes help on topics such as:

–How to avoid or deal with foreclosures, tips on talking to lenders, contact info for local housing counselors, information on foreclosure scams.
–Eating Right when Money is Tight
–The USDA nutrition assistance program
–Securing your retirement
–Jobs and opportunities in your state
–Information and resources for growing a small business
–EDIE the Estimator–A tool that helps you identify which of your bank accounts are insured
